Being KIND: Kids-giving or Thanksgiving gathering
Time & Location
About The Event
It’s that time of year again Where we begin to look at what’s really important, not just the things we have or want but about the simple things in life. Our family and friends and whom we share our moments with.
It’s not what’s on the table, but the kindness and love that goes into setting it. With the help of our favorite book ever “Will you fill my bucket?” by Carol McCloud and Karen Wells, we will speak about kindness, love, & respect. We will discuss with kids what it means to be a “bully” and how it may hurt other people. After the discussion we will practice being kind to our younger friends in the class in a cooperative way, helping each other prepare for our Thanksgiving table gathering where we will feast on our fruit cornucopias.
Let us share with your kids and they will then help you set your Thanksgiving table! We hope they will leave knowing what it feels like to share and spread kindness, as that is the most important lesson of any holiday season.
Kids of all ages are welcome. This event will be perfect for siblings!
