While at the camp students will explore different ways to take off in to the skies! They will learn about the air around us, the forces that affect flight (thrust, drag, weight, and lift), kinetic versus potential energy, and more. Camp activities will include building helicopters and rockets and if weather permits, we will venture outside to test our builds and run around. We will round out the afternoon with a fun and engaging coding project.

Virtual Academic Summer Camp 2021

Your children will be excited to wake up and sign into their Virtual Camp Classroom for two hours of entertainment, learning, and fun!

The Renaissance Child's Virtual Academic Summer Camp is the only comprehensive Summer Program that will keep your child's attention as we switch focus throughout the morning from various subjects and special activities. In our virtual camp, we offer a schedule that will include Inventors Club, LEGO modeling, Biology, Coding, STEAM, Robotics, Science Experiments & Crafts, Math (elementary and competitive Kangaroo Math), English (Reading Comprehension and Essay Writing), Music, and once a week Hip-Hop class. Each class and activity will be customized for the age of your child. If you are worried about ending the school year and needing to keep your child engaged, this is the perfect option!

Academic Summer Camp 2021

Ages 5-10 Years

Due to the updated Health and Safety requirements, we have to minimize the rotation of participants. This summer we will allow registering for two weeks minimum and must be attending without a break. The maximum capacity will be 8 children.

The Academic Summer Camp offers the most innovative and comprehensive curriculum which includes: STEAM, Coding, LEGO modeling, Inventors Club, Robotics Club, and Biology. To prevent the summer slide kids will be learning Math, English, and Spanish as well. Our English classes include reading comprehension, essay writing, public speaking, and topical discussion. In addition to education classes, we feature creative and fun activities such as mixed media art, hip-hop dancing, pop-singing, and more as we engage and stimulate your child. If weather permits children are taken to the neighboring private playground near our studio as well.

Virtual Explorers' Summer Camp

Ages 1-7 Years

June 9th - July 2nd

9.30 -10.15 am

$20 per week

We want to keep your little explorers in a routine this summer by offering our favorite classes. This Camp will take your child on a journey through our popular Music for Little Ones with talented Rianjali, Storytime & Craft with knowledgeable Lisa Greenhut our science teacher, and Bilingual Storytime class with super fun and friendly Miss Gwen. Allow Music, Literacy, Art, and Languages to shape a solid foundation for your child's lifelong learning.

The Renaissance Child's Policies in response to COVID-19

All students' temperatures will be taken upon entry. Any temperature over 100.4 will be sent home.
The maximum attendance is 8 children. Must attend for a minimum of two weeks straight. We would like to minimize children's rotation.
Masks are required by all staff members who enter the studio. All teachers are required to wear a mask inside the studio.

PPE will be available at the studio at all times.
Drop-off only. We cannot allow parents or caregivers to stay or congregate in our waiting area. If your child will not allow you to leave, please wait to register until they are okay with you doing so.
Only one parent or caregiver can drop-off or pick-up at a time. Please do not have multiple adults drop-off or pick-up your child.
Hand sanitizers will be available at the studio. Please use it as soon as you enter the studio.
No lunch or snacks will be provided. Children will be seated 6 ft apart during lunchtime or snack.
Cleaning of the studio will be in accordance with the CDC's Guidance. All shared materials will be disinfected between uses.
As new information and guidelines are coming in we will continue to update our policies. If you are considering enrolling your child in summer camp for any number of days or weeks, please have Medical Records sent showing a physical past September 1, 2019, and all up to date immunizations.
