Our policies

  1. Class size is a minimum of five for regular classes and three for 2hrs Drop-off classes. We reserve the right to cancel a class if we don’t meet our class minimum.
  2. Due to the fire safety reasons, we allow only 1 parent/caregiver can be in the classroom with your child during class time. Any additional parent, grandparent, or caregiver will have to stay in the waiting area for the duration of the class.
  3. Registration: Enrolling your child you have three options: 1) One-time payment for the whole semester 2) Payment plan 3) Drop-in - Register for one specific class and date. When you choose a payment plan amount of installments may vary depending on the longevity of the class. You will be billed automatically according to your payment plan.
  4. Make-up policy: Make-up classes do not roll over to the next month or semester. One make-up class per month is allowed only for students enrolled for the whole semester. You must schedule your make-up class within the next 4 weeks. No refunds will be given for missed classes (24/hr cancellation policy applies). A make-up class can be scheduled for any other class within your child's age group with advance notice. Contact us for more information. No make-ups offered for: Discovery Center admissions, Little Explorer 2hr drop-off (pre-k prep) classes, Drop-in classes.
  5. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations require a 24-hour notice in order to qualify for receiving a make-up class. A make-up class will not be offered for cancellation without notice (no show).
  6. Refunds: Event admissions are non-refundable. Full refunds are available up until one week before the first class of the session begins. You have 2 weeks to decide if you would like to continue your classes and if not to get a refund for the remaining classes.
  7. A Late Fee of $35 will be added to the payment received after the due date or beginning of the semester.
  8. Transferring classes to another student is allowed.
  9. Discounts and Coupons: Please note if you are applying a coupon code to your order you will get a discount only from your current order. If you choose a payment plan, the coupon code you use will not be effective for your next installment payments, it will only reflect on your first payment. Sibling discount is 10% off your second class. We offer a free class if you refer to us a new client.

  11. The Renaissance Child cannot be held responsible for damaged clothing. Art can be messy. Please send your child in clothing that you're okay with getting messy. Even with aprons (which are provided), accidents can still occur.
  12. A parent or caregiver must provide an emergency contact in the event of a drop-off. If you plan to drop off your child and someone else will be picking him or her up, this will need to be submitted in writing upon dropping off your child.
  13. For Summer Camps students parents must provide medical and immunization records 2 weeks prior.
